Aialik Bay, 2004

Pedersen Glacier is my favorite.

After we paddled across the lagoon I spotted a huge Black Bear.

This must be the biggest Black Bear I have ever seen. He had an attitude to match.

I was impressed how well he could climb on the cliffs.

He came over to the edge of the water to check us out. There was no sign of fear. I felt as if he was looking at us as a potential food source. Good thing we were in our kayaks in deep water.
